This fall Jay and I rejoice in 40 years following hard after the Holy One of Israel. What an adventure for us former Canadians. Rejoice with us; Daniel, the youngest of our sons to be launched, was one of 20 students chosen and has begun a 4 year degree program in film at in university here in Israel.

The following article was published in the ‘Christian edition of the Jerusalem Post’ at the prompting of the ‘International Christian Embassy’ of which we were co-founders in 1980.
The title “Christian Family” is a little misleading and to clear up any confusion let me say that our family is composed of Jews and Christians including 8 grandchildren, 3 Christian and 5 Jewish!

What an amazing adventure it has been, following hard after the Lord God Almighty by faith. There has never been a dull moment. But our partners helped us at every point along the way!

The Prophet Isaiah was calling for scribes to pen the words of God, as a witness to Israel and the world. Jay calls the cameras in our studio our “scribing instruments” for with them we have been given access into the hearts and homes of our nation Israel and our people. We have also been faithful to transcribed onto film and video, DVD, and in print, the unfolding of Christian Zionism.

From the very beginning we were media-co-ordinators at the opening of the ICEJ. We created their first film for the release of Soviet Jewry and were there filming the unfolding of the ‘Knesset Christian Allies Causus.”

What a journey it has been, through the good times and bad, the feasts and the wars. But, I suppose our greatest accomplishment is the love we Rawlings have for each other. We still enjoy ‘hanging out’. Now, that is a witness!
