Rakkaat ystävät!

Sydämeni on täpötäynnä. Olen rukoillut, että tämä kirje olisi jokaiselle teistä siunaus, aivan henkilökohtaisesti. Mikä etuoikeus meillä onkaan ‘siunata’ HERRAA; etenkin silloin, kun tilanteet käyvät rankoiksi.
Ennen aloitusta haluan vielä sanoa, etten ole kuullut muutamista teistä mitään tänä vuonna. Kerrottehan, mikäli haluatte kuulua meidän maailmaamme.

Tässä kirjeessä juhlimme juutalaista pääsiäistä sellaisena kuin sen ymmärremme Kirjoituksissa esitettynä.

Siunattu (olet) SINÄ!
Hepreaksi aloitamme jokaisen siunauksen sanoilla: ‘Baruch Atah – Siunattu (olet) Sinä! Nykyisen sukupuolijakaumaa koskevan hysterian aikana, me täällä Israelissa puhuttelemme Jumalaa maskuliinisella pronominilla tai sanomme SINÄ maskuliinia tarkoittavalla pronominilla. Välittömästi meidät vedetään yhteyteen, rakastavaan suhteeseen. Toiseksi ‘baruch’ merkitsee ‘siunata’. Jotenka, joka päivä siunaamme SINUA (Jumala)! Jeesus puhutteli Isäänsä tällä tavalla. Kyseessä on henkilökohtainen ja läheinen suhde, kaukana mistään uskonnosta. Uskon tämän olevan yksi Israelin salaisuuksista, ja se on kunnioitettavaa ja huomionarvoista.

YLPEYDEN kuuraaminen pois
Juutalainen pääsiäinen [ohikulkeminen] tuo tunteen ihmeiden odotuksesta ja uusista aluista. Hyvin märän talven jälkeen alamme leikata puutarhan pensaita ja kitkeä rikkaruohoja. Sitten kuuraamme kodin huone huoneelta, laatikko laatikolta. Siivoaminen on ennen muuta sisimmän tutkimista. Pölyn, murusten ja hämähäkinseittien pyyhkiminen ja lakaiseminen on melkoinen näytös ja puuha. Käymme läpi tekemiset, keskustelut ja tunteet, jotka liittyvät kuhunkin huoneeseen, jota parhaillaan puhdistamme. Jos ylpeys on hiipinyt sisään, sitä kadumme ja pyydämme anteeksi. Ylpeyden hapatus tai synti, on kaikkein tappavin synti, joka meidän tulee kitkeä juurineen pois.

Veri pihtipielissämme
Meidän perheemme Egyptissä 3 500 vuotta sitten siveli esikoiskaritsan verta ovien pihtipieliin iisopista tai zatarista tehdyllä huiskalla. Jumala ohjeisti Mooseksen käskemään meitä pysyttelemään sisätiloissa Kuoleman enkelin kulkiessa ohitse. Söimme koko lampaan ja odotimme, valmistauduimme lähtemään, kun käsky kuului. Rukoilimme tietämättä mitä odottaa. Sitten… egyptiläisten parku ja huuto ajoi meidät pois siitä maasta! Seurasimme Moosesta.

Mysteeri # 1
Kelataanpa pikaisesti 1 500 vuotta eteenpäin ja siirrytään Jerusalemiin. Jeesus oli vienyt opetuslapsensa syömään, viettämään juutalaista pääsiäisillallista. Hän päätti juhla-aterian paljastamalla kaksi mysteeriä.
Teko, jonka tuolla aterialla toteutamme, on 3 matsaleivän laittaminen sivuun. Mystisesti ainoastaan

keskimmäinen niistä puolitetaan murtaen ja laitetaan erityisen pellavaliinan sisään. Kun kukaan ei katsele, pöydän päässä istuja piilottaa tämän ns. afikomanin. Miksi se murretaan ja piilotetaan? Mitä se merkitsee?

Jeesus paljasti tuon mysteerin viettäessään viimeistä kertaa juutalaista pääsiäisjuhlaa. Kerron omin sanoin: … aterian lopulla…sen jälkeen, kun Hänet oli kavallettu, Hän otti afikomanin eli piilotetun palan matsaleipää ja siunasi… Baruch Atah! Sitten Jeesus mursi matsaleivän uudelleen ja paljasti…”Tämä on minun ruumiini, joka annetaan teidän edestänne. Tehkää tämä minun muistokseni.” Luukas 22: 19

Mestari paljasti afikomanin kuvastavan Häntä itseään kärsivänä Messiaana. Keskimmäinen matsaleivän pala, joka on rei’itetty, puhuu Hänen ruumiillisen olomuotonsa nöyryydestä. Kolme palaa matsaleipää laitettiin erilleen aterian alussa. Niistä on useita tulkintoja. Me valitsemme tulkinnan: Isä, Poika ja Pyhä Henki. Murrettu matsaleipä laitettiin erilleen ja kätkettiin, kunnes se, lasten etsittyä sitä, aterian loppupuolella löytyy. Järkyttyivätkö opetuslapset? He eivät ymmärtäneet ilmestyksen syvällisyyttä…vielä.

Mysteeri # 2
Sitten Jeesus otti maljan. Sen on täytynyt olla Eliaan malja! Katamme pöytään aina paikan Eliaalle ja avaamme etuoven. Eliaa juutalaiset nimittäin rakastavat. He uskovat Eliaan saapuvan ensin ja avaavan tietä Messiaan tulla. Johannes Kastaja tuli Eliaan hengessä, niin Jeesus sanoi. Tarttuessaan Eliaan maljaan Jeesus jälleen siunasi: ”Baruch Atah” ja sanoi: ”Tämä on minun vereni, liiton veri, joka vuodatetaan monien edestä.” Markus 14:24 Hän viittasi Jeremian profetiaan 31:31. ” Katso päivät tulevat, sanoo Herra, jolloin minä teen Israelin heimon ja Juudan heimon kanssa uuden liiton.” Opetuslapset olivat hiljaa eivätkä kysyneet mitään.


Puutarha oli viininpuristamo
Kun juhla oli ohi, Jeesus ja opetuslapset vaelsivat halki Jerusalemin, joka oli ääriään myöden täynnä pyhiinvaeltajia sen ajan tunnetun maailman eri puolilta. He kulkivat hiljaa ohi Daavidin kaupungin yläpuolella olevan, varjostavan Temppelin. He ylittivät Kidroninpuron ja hiipivät Getsemaneen puutarhan upeaan hiljaisuuteen. Jeesus rukoili yksinään: ”Abba, Isä… (ota tämä malja minulta pois.) Ei kuitenkaan niin kuin minä tahdon vaan niin kuin Sinä (Atah)!” Markus 14:36 

Surmapaikka
Jeesuksen nukkuvat opetuslapset olivat vain lisäämässä sitä tuskaa, joka sai Jeesuksen hikoilemaan veripisaroita. Kavallus tapahtui pian sen jälkeen Juudaksen suudelmalla. Sitä seurasi vangitseminen, pilkkaaminen, tekaistu oikeudenkäynti, panettelu, ruoskiminen, piiskaniskut ja ehkä jopa sodomia… Israelin, maailman ja minun syntieni vuoksi. Karkeasyinen ristin poikkipuu sälytettiin revittyyn selkään, kunnes ohikulkijan täytyi tulla sitä kantamaan. Teloituspaikka sijaitsi lähellä Temppelivuorta, Damaskoksentien varressa; kuivuneen veren ja roskien hajun ympäröimä paikka. Kärpäset pörräsivät auringon paahteessa, ihmisjoukko ilkkui. Paikka ei ollut mikään vehreä kukkula jossain kaukana. Isä Jumalan silmäterä, Ihmisen Poika ristiinnaulittiin sotilaallisella tarkkuudella. Yksin ja hyljättynä Hän huusi: ”Isä, anna heille anteeksi, sillä he eivät tiedä, mitä tekevät.”Luukas 23:34

Mallikaava
Palataanpa Moosekseen, joka oli Siinainvuorella. Hän sai mallin ja ohjeet Ilmestysmajaa varten, jonka kaikkein pyhimmässä osassa oli Liitonarkki eli Armoistuin. Jumala opasti Moosesta: ”Tee kullasta takomalla kaksi kerubia, yksi armoistuimen kumpaankin päähän.” 2. Mooseksen kirja 25:18

Rabbit opettavat, että toisella kerubeista oli pojan kasvot, toisella taas nuoren tytön kasvot. Koko Armoistuimen kansi tuli takoa yhdestä ainoasta kultaharkosta. Kummankin kerubin siivet olivat

yläviistossa ja osoittivat kohti vastapäisen, kannen toisessa päässä olevan kerubin siipiä. Neljä levitettyä siipeä muodostivat katoksen, joka oli kymmenen kämmenenleveyttä (75-100 cm) kannen yläpuolella. (Rashi, kohta 5 b) Ainoastaan ylipappi sai kerran vuodessa, suurena sovituspäivänä, mennä sinne tunnustamaan omat syntinsä, perheensä synnit, Israelin ja koko maailman synnit; mikä merkitsi tuolloin 70 valtakuntaa.

Täyttymys
Jeesus edustaa armoistuinta, joka oli toteutettu Mooseksen näkemän mallin mukaan; se oli maasta versonutta akasiapuuta, arkki ja kerubit oli päällystetty puhtaalla kullalla; siinä yhdistyi maa taivaalliseen; täydellinen täyttymys.
Siirrytään aamuun, kolmanteen päivään Jeesuksen ristiinnaulitsemisesta lukien ja seurataan Maria Magdaleenaa. ”Mutta Maria seisoi hautakammion ulkopuolella ja itki. Itkiessään hän kurkisti hautakammioon ja näki kaksi valkopukuista enkeliä istumassa siinä, missä Jeesuksen ruumis oli ollut.” …” Nainen, mitä itket?” ”… mene veljieni luo ja sano heille, että minä menen ylös minun Isäni ja teidän Isänne luo, minun Jumalani ja teidän Jumalanne luo.” Johannes 20: 11-13, 17

Pidättehän mielessä ja pohdittehan, mitä suuria meidän rakastava, armahtava Taivaallinen Isämme on tehnyt puolestamme. Rawlingsien perhe siunaa teitä ja toivoo teille kaikille syvästi merkityksellistä pääsiäistä.

Siunattu olkoon Hänen kunniansa nimi ja olkoon Hänen valtakuntansa iäti ja iankaiken!

My Dear Friends:

My heart is so full. I have prayed that this letter will be a blessing to each one of you, personally. What a privilege it is for us to “bless” the LORD; especially when the going gets rough.

Before I start just let me say, we have not heard from some of you this year. Kindly indicate if you would like to be part of our world. In this letter we celebrate Passover as we believe it is set forth in Scripture.

Baruch Atah – YOU!
In Hebrew we begin every blessing with Baruch Atah! In todays world of gender hysteria, here we speak intimately to God as Atah or YOU.  Immediately we are drawn into relationship, a love relationship. Secondly, baruch means to bless. So first thing every day we bless YOU!  Jesus addressed His Father this way. This is a personal and intimate relationship, far removed from ‘religion’.  I think this is one of Israel’s secrets, and is honourable and noteworthy.

Scrubbing away PRIDE & ARROGANCE
Passover brings a sense of expectation miracles and new beginnings. After a very wet winter, we begin by pruning bushes and pulling weeds in the garden. Then we scrub our homes; room by room and drawer by drawer. It is a time of soul searching first and foremost. Cleaning away the dust, crumbs and cobwebs is a show and tell exercise. We take stock of the activities, conversations and emotions that evolved in the rooms we now clean. Where pride has crept in we repent and ask forgiveness.  It is the leaven or sin of pride, the deadliest of all sins that we must eradicate.

The Blood on our Doorposts
3,500 years ago, our family in Egypt applied the blood of a first born lamb on their door posts with a brush of hyssop or zatar. God instructed Moses to order us to stay indoors while the Death Angel passed over. We ate all of the lamb and waited, prepared to move when the word came. We prayed, not knowing what to expect. Then… the wailing and screaming Egyptians, drove us out! We followed Moses.

Mystery # 1
Fast forward 1,500 years, we are now in Jerusalem. Jesus has just led his disciples have just eaten the Passover Feast. He concluded it with the revelation of two mysteries. One of the first things we do is set aside 3 pieces of matzah. Mysteriously, only the middle piece is broken in half and placed in a special linen napkin. When no one is looking, the head of the table hides the afikomen. Why is it broken and hidden? What does it mean?

Jesus reveals this mystery in the context of His last Passover Feast. I will paraphrase… at the end of the meal…after He was betrayed, He took the afikoman, thehidden piece of broken matzah and blessed… Baruch Atah! Then Jesus breaks it yet again and reveals …this is my body broken for you, do this in remembrance of Me. Luke 22:19 

The Master revealed that the afikoman represents Him as the suffering Messiah. The middle broken piece of matzah, with piercings in it, speaks of the humility of His physical life. The three pieces of matzah separated at the beginning of the meal, have several interpretations, we chose: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The broken matzah was separated and hidden until it is found after the children’s search at the end of the meal. Were the disciples shocked? They did not understand the depth of His revelation… yet. 

Mystery # 2
Then Jesus took the cup. It would have been the Elijah cup!  We set a  place for Elijah at the table and open the front door. When we were in the former Soviet Union at Passover, of course the door was kept locked. Here we open our front door. You see Elijah is beloved among the Jewish people and they believe that he will come first and usher in Messiah. John the Baptist came in the spirit of Elijah, Jesus said. Taking the Elijah cup; again Jesus blessed his Father, Baruch Atah… and said; this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.  Mark 14:24 He was referring to Jeremiah’s prophecy in chapter 

31 verse 31. Behold the days are coming says the LORD when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. The disciples are silent, and didn’t ask any questions.


The Garden was a Wine Press
The feast being over, Jesus and his disciples strolled out into a Jerusalem filled to capacity with pilgrims from across the known world. Quietly they passed in the shadow of the Temple, situated high above David’s city. They crossed the Brook Kidron, and crept into the glorious stillness of the Garden of Gethsemane. Alone, Jesus prayed: Abba Father… not what I will but what you (Atah) will. Mark 14:36c 

The Killing Field
His sleeping disciples only served to intensify the agony that caused Jesus to sweat drops of blood. Betrayal came shortly with a kiss from Judas. It was followed by incarceration, taunting, a mock trial, ridicule, slander, scourging, whippings and perhaps even sodomy… for the sins of Israel and the world and for me. The crude cross beam was slung across his lacerated back, until  a passerby was forced to carry it. The execution ground was located in proximity to the Temple Mount, on the side of the road to Damascus stunk of dried blood and garbage. Flies buzzed in the hot sun, crowds jeered. It was not on a green hill far away. The apple of Father God’s eye, The Son of Man was crucified with military precision. Alone and forsaken He cried, Father forgive them, for they do not know what they do. Luke 23:34

The Pattern
Back track to Moses on Mount Sinai. He was given ‘the pattern’ for the tabernacle; with the mercy seat in the inner sanctum. God instructed him: “And you shall make two cherubim of gold, hammered work you shall make at the two ends of the mercy seat.” Exodus 25:18  

The Rabbis teach that one cherub had the face of a young boy and the other the face of a young girl.  The entire cover of the mercy seat had to be hammered out of one large ingot of gold. The wings of each cherub were thrust upward, pointing toward the wings of the one on the opposite end of the cover of the mercy seat. The four outspread wings formed a canopy that was ten handbreadths (30-40 inches) over the cover. (Rashi from Succah 5b) Only the High Priest could enter once a year on the Day of Atonement,  confessing his sin, and those of his family, of Israel and of the whole world, represented as 70 nations.  

The Fulfilment
Jesus represents the mercy seat, made according to the pattern Moses saw: acacia wood from the earth, overlaid in pure gold to include the cherubim, combining the earthly with the heavenly; a perfect fulfilment. 

It is now early morning, the third day since Jesus was crucified. Follow Mary Magdalene, … she wept, stooped down and looked into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

Woman, why are you weeping, whom are you seeking?…go to My brethren and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God. John 20:12,15,17a.

Consider what great things our beloved Father of tender mercies in heaven has done for us. The Rawlings family send you blessings from Jerusalem for a deeply meaningful Passover.

Blessed be the Name of His Honour, and His Kingdom is forever and ever!

Liebe Freunde…

Ich fragte David, meinen ältesten Sohn, am Sabbat: «Was denkst du ist gefährlicher für Israel: Iran oder Europa mit seinen rasanten radikalen Veränderungen?» Ohne zu zögern meinte er: «Europa!».

«David, wir arbeiten seit 50 Jahren für die Aliya, welche Juden ermutigt, nach Israel nach Hause zu kommen. Und bei dem weltweiten Judenhass ist es wichtiger denn je! Wir als Familie haben mit Filmen, Büchern, TV Sendungen und Vorlesungen zusammen daran gearbeitet, Israels Geschichte und prophetischen Platz in der alten und neuen Geschichte aufzuzeigen. Dann haben wir auch eine Voreiterrolle gespielt im Kampf gegen sexuellen Missbrauch. ABER nichts hat sich verändert! In den Nachrichten hören wir vom zunehmenden Antisemitismus weltweit, Hass auf Juden und Israel, und der sexuelle Missbrauch ist auch auf dem Vormarsch. Und hier in Israel bleiben auch immer die gleichen Probleme… nicht endende Terrordrohungen, Hass und Schmierkampagnen der Palästinenser.»

David meinte: «Ich weiss, Mam!» Er schockierte mich: «Der Holocaust könnte wieder passieren. Die Weichen sind gestellt, und mit dem weltweiten GPS könnten wir keine Juden mehr verstecken. Es ist sehr ernst. Israel ist eine demokratische Insel der Vernunft mitten in einem Meer von Wahnsinn.»

«David, das sehe ich auch so. Wenn wir die Bücher von Papa und mir lesen, die wir vor 30 Jahren geschrieben haben… sind die grundlegenden Elemente die gleichen. Der Unterschied besteht darin, dass heute die jüdisch-christliche Ethik sowohl im Westen als im Osten von gottlosen und islamischen Führern schwer angegriffen wird. Und um die Verwirrung noch grösser zu machen, wird die Nutzung von einem Chip in der rechten Hand immer verbreiteter; JETZT eine sehr populäre Realität. ACHTUNG: Off. 13.16,17»

David meinte: «Du und Papa wart schon immer prophetisch; ich ermutige euch, dran zu bleiben. Ihr habt immer noch viele gute Jahre vor euch; zusammen werdet ihr mächtig gebraucht. Haltet Vorträge!  Du und Papa solltet Zeit mit Menschen verbringen; in jedem Treffen muss es Frage- und Antwortzeiten geben. Papa soll die neusten Informationen über Israel bringen, und Mam, dein Thema ist der sexuelle Missbrauch.»

Tatsachen:

USA: Minneapolis, Minnesota ist gemäss dem FBI ein Brennpunkt für Terrorismus. 45 Somalier verliessen die Stadt in den letzten 5 Jahren, um sich dem IS und der Al Shabaab anzuschliessen. 12 wurden verhaftet, als sie versuchten, sich dem IS anzuschliessen. Ilan Omar wurde von radikalen Muslimen gewählt. Ihre Worte als US Kongressfrau sind voll Gift, Lügen und islamischem Gedankengut. Es ist kein Geheimnis, dass sie Israel verabscheut und als radikale, sozialistische Demokratin auftritt. 

England: Die Premierministerin Theresa May hat sich gegen den Antisemitismus im britischen Parlament geäussert. Er hat in Grossbritannien innerhalb eines Jahres um 75% zugenommen. Israel ist die einzige Nation, welche mit England einen 10 Mrd.$ schwerer Handelsvertrag abgeschlossen hat, wenn es aus den EU Restriktionen befreit sein wird Ende März.
Erinnert euch daran, dass England und Amerika weltweit die grössten Leuchttüre für das Evangelium in der Geschichte waren!

Jay und ich kommen sehr gerne nach Deutschland oder in die Schweiz, ladet uns ein! Wir möchten gerne viel Frucht bringen!

Shalom te kaikki, jotka haluatte vaikuttaa näinä synkkinä päivinä!

Kysyin vanhimmalta pojaltamme Davidilta sapattina: ”Mikä on kaikkein vaarallisin alue Israelin kannalta – militantti Iran vai Eurooppa ylitseen pyyhkäisevine muutoksineen?” Pelkästään Ranskassa ISIS on murhannut 230 ihmistä. David vastasi epäröimättä: ”Eurooppa.” Olen samaa mieltä, ja alla olevat tiedot todentavat tuota vakaata käsitystä.

Keskustelumme jatkui näin: ”David, me olemme työskennelleet alijan edistämiseksi, olemme olleet rohkaisemassa juutalaisia palaamaan kotiin Israeliin tähän mennessä 50 vuoden ajan. Kun otamme huomioon koko maailmanlaajuisen juutalaisvihan, tuo kutsu on entistä tärkeämpi! Perheenä me teimme filmejä, tv-ohjelmia, kirjoja ja pidimme luentoja. Yhdessä olemme kertoneet maailmalle Israelin historiallisesta ja profeetallisesta merkityksestä ja osuudesta muinaisen ja modernin historian aikana. Olemme olleet edelläkävijöitä myös tukiessamme seksuaalisen hyväksikäytön uhreja maailmanlaajuisessa taistelussa. MUTTA mikään ei ole muuttunut! Juuri antisemitismi ja seksuaalinen hyväksikäyttö lisääntyvät jatkuvasti. Kuulemme päivittäin antisemitismin jyrkästä lisääntymisestä maailmanlaajuisena ilmiönä, johon liittyy viha Israelia kohtaan. Seksuaalinen hyväksikäyttö ei milloinkaan ole ollut yhtä laajalle levinnyttä. Myös täällä Israelissa tilanteet ovat periaatteessa ennallaan… palestiinalaiset näyttävät jatkavan terrorilla uhkailua, vihaa ja ovelia mustamaalauskampanjoita entiseen tapaan.” Olemme astuneet hyvin synkkään yöhön.

Ori Ansbacher, aged 19, was a gentle Jewish soul who volunteered with disadvantaged kids of all faiths. On Feb. 7th, 2019, while walking alone in the forest near Jerusalem, she was raped, stabbed multiple times and decapitated.

Arafat Irfayia: Ori’s murderer, a proud Palestinian from Hebron smirks, “I wanted to return to an Israeli jail. “Now officially a Hero of the Resistance, according to the Palestinian Authority, he will receive $3,700 US. salary monthly for life (paid by UK & EU taxpayers). He will likely spend at most 10 years in a comfortable Israeli jail and will also enjoy the honor of having schools and roads named after him.

Here in Israel, we feel that justice has been turned upon its head. This despicable murderer is no doubt the victim of the P.A.’s educational system of hatred of Israel; brainwashing their children and youth to believe the highest honor is to murder an Israeli.

Former Israeli PM Ehud Barak,  since the Oslo Accords in 1982 was ‘Inspector’ on behalf of Israel for anti-semitic and anti-Israel rhetoric perpetrated in Palestinian school books. Recently he confessed to never having looked between the covers of their school books. My question is, AT  WHAT PRICE? We have a generation of adult Palestinians who believe the highest good is to murder Israelis. It was Plato who said:

– Why are so many grandchildren of Nazis and Nazi collaborators who brought us the Holocaust once again declaring war on the Jews?

– Why have we seen such an increase in anti-Semitism and irrationally virulent anti-Zionism in Western Europe?

To answer these questions, a myth must first be exposed. That myth is the one perpetrated by the French, Dutch, Norwegians, Swiss, Belgians, Austrians, and many other western Europeans: namely that the Holocaust was solely the work of German Nazis aided perhaps by some Polish, Ukrainian, Latvian, Lithuanian, and Estonian collaborators. False. The Holocaust was perpetrated by Europeans: by Nazi sympathizers and collaborators among the French, Dutch, Norwegians, Swiss, Belgians, Austrians and other Europeans, both Western and Eastern.
If the French government had not deported more Jews than their German occupiers asked for, to the death; if so many Dutch and Belgian citizens and government officials had not cooperated in the roundup of Jews; if so many Norwegians had not supported Quisling; if Swiss government officials and bankers had not exploited Jews; if Austria had not been more Nazi than the Nazis, the Holocaust would not have had so many Jewish victims.

In light of the widespread European complicity in the destruction of European Jewry, the pervasive anti- Semitism and irrationally hateful anti-Zionism that has recently surfaced throughout Western Europe toward Israel should surprise no one. “Oh no,” we hear from European apologists. “This is different. We don’t hate the Jews. We only hate their nation-state. Moreover, the Nazis were right-wing. We are left-wing, so we can’t be anti-Semites.”Nonsense. The hard left has a history of anti-Semitism as deep and enduring as the hard right. The line from Voltaire to Karl Marx, to Lavrenti Beria, to Robert Faurisson, to today’s hard-left Israel bashers is as straight as the line from Wilhelm Mars to the persecutors of Alfred Dreyfus to Hitler.

The Jews of Europe have always been crushed between the Black and the Red – victims of extremism whether it be the ultra-nationalism of Khmelnitsky to the ultra-anti-Semitism of Stalin. “But some of the

most strident anti-Zionists are Jews, such as Norman Finkelstein and even Israelis such as Gilad Atzmon. Surely they can’t be anti-Semites?” Why not? Gertrude Stein and Alice Toklas collaborated with the Gestapo. Atzmon, a hard leftist, describes himself as a proud self-hating Jew and admits that his ideas derive from a notorious anti-Semite. He denies that the Holocaust is historically proved but he believes that Jews may well have killed Christian children to use their blood to bake Passover matzah. And he thinks it’s “rational” to burn down synagogues. Finkelstein believes in an international Jewish conspiracy that includes Steven Spielberg, Leon Uris, Eli Wiesel, and Andrew Lloyd Webber!

“But Israel is doing bad things to the Palestinians,” the European apologists insist, “and we are sensitive to the plight of the underdog.”


No, you’re not! Where are your demonstrations on behalf of the oppressed Tibetans, Georgians, Syrians, Armenians, Kurds, or even Ukrainians? Where are your BDS movements against the Chinese, the Russians, the Cubans, the Turks, or the Assad regime? Only the Palestinians, only Israel? Why? Not because the Palestinians are more oppressed than these and other groups. Only because their alleged oppressors are Jews and the nation-state of the Jews. Would there be demonstrations and BDS campaigns on behalf of the Palestinians if they were oppressed by Jordan or Egypt? Oh, wait! The Palestinians were oppressed by Egypt and Jordan… The West Bank and Gaza were an open-air prison between 1948 and 1967 when Egypt and Jordan were the occupying powers. And remember Black September, when Jordan killed more Palestinians than Israel did in a century? (3,000) I don’t remember any demonstration or BDS campaigns — because there weren’t any.”

When Arabs occupy or kill Arabs, Europeans go ho-hum. But when Israel opens a soda factory in Maale Adumim, which even the Palestinian leadership acknowledges will remain part of Israel in any peace deal, Oxfam parts ways with Scarlett Johansson for advertising a soda company that employs hundreds of Palestinians. Keep in mind that Oxfam has provided “aid and material support” to two anti-Israel terrorist groups, according to the Tel Aviv-based Israeli Law Group.

The hypocrisy of so many hard-left western Europeans would be staggering if it were not so predictable based on the sordid history of Western Europe’s treatment of the Jews. Even England, which was on the right side of the war against Nazism, has a long history of anti-Semitism, beginning with the expulsion of the Jews in 1290 to the notorious White Paper of 1939, which prevented the Jews of Europe from

seeking asylum from the Nazis in British-mandated Palestine… And Ireland, which vacillated in the war against Hitler, boasts some of the most virulent anti-Israel rhetoric. The simple reality is that one cannot understand the current western European left-wing war against the nation-state of the Jewish people without first acknowledging the long-term European war against the Jewish people themselves.

Theodore Herzl understood the pervasiveness and irrationality of European anti-Semitism, which led him to the conclusion that the only solution to Europe’s Jewish problem was for European Jews to leave that bastion of Jew-hatred and return to their original homeland, which is now the State of Israel.


None of this is to deny Israel’s imperfections or the criticism it justly deserves for some of its policies. But these imperfections and deserved criticism cannot even begin to explain, much less justify, the disproportionate hatred directed against the only nation-state of the Jewish people and the disproportionate silence regarding the far greater imperfections and deserved criticism of other nations and groups including the Palestinians.

Nor is this to deny that many western European individuals and some western European countries have refused to succumb to the hatred against the Jews or their state. The Czech Republic comes to mind. But far too many western Europeans are as irrational in their hatred toward Israel as their for-bearers were in their hatred toward their Jewish neighbors.

As author Amos Oz once aptly observed: the walls of his grandparents’ Europe were covered with graffiti saying, “Jews, go to Palestine.” Now they say, “Jews, get out of Palestine,” by which is meant Israel.

Who do these western European bigots think they’re fooling? Only fools who want to be fooled in the interest of denying that they are manifesting new variations on their grandparents’ old biases. Any objective person with an open mind, open eyes, and an open heart must see the double standard being applied to the nation-state of the Jewish people. Many doing so are the grandchildren of those who lethally applied a double standard to the Jews of Europe in the 1930s and 1940s.

I asked our eldest son, David, over Shabbat, “Which area is the most dangerous for Israel; militant Iran or Europe with its sweeping radical changes?” In France alone, ISIS has murdered 230 people.  Without hesitation, he responded: “Europe.” I agree and the following information will substantiate this conviction.

Our conversation continued: “David, we’ve been working for aliyah, helping to encourage Jews to come home to Israel for 50 years now. And with all of the Jew-hatred worldwide; this call is even more important than ever!  As a family, we created, films, TV shows, books, and lectures. Together we have told the world of Israel’s historic and prophetic place in ancient and modern history. We have also been vanguards for victims in the war on sexual abuse globally. BUT, nothing has changed! If anything, anti-Semitism and sexual abuse continue to grow. We hear daily about the parabolic rise of anti-Semitism globally linked to hatred of Israel. Sexual abuse has never been more prevalent. And right here in Israel, the issues remain basically unchanged… terror threats, hatred and clever smear champagnes from the Palestinians never seem to change.” We have entered a very dark night.

David agreed and shocked me by saying: “The Holocaust could happen again. The stage is being set. Just think, now with the world GPS systems, we would n’t be able to hide Jews. It’s very serious in spite of the miracle that Israel is an island of democracy and sanity surrounded by the growing sea of madness.

I said. “When I read the books Dad and I wrote 40 years ago… the basic issues are exactly the same. The difference is that today the Judaeo-Christian ethic is under fierce attack by the godless Right and Left in Europe; add to this the continued rise of Fundamentalism Islam in both East and West.

David encouraged me with: “You and Dad have always been prophetic; I want to encourage you to arrange speaking engagements. You need to spend time with the people of Europe.  In every meeting it’s important to have question and answer sessions!”

FACTS:

USA: Minneapolis Minnesota according to the FBI is the top hotbed of terror. 45 Somalis left to join ISIS  and El Shabab over the last 5 years. 12 were arrested trying to join ISIS. Congresswoman Ilan Omar was put into office by this radical Muslim Islamic sentiment. This socialist Democrat detests Israel and says so!

UK: Prime Minister Theresa May addressed anti-semitism within the institution of the British Parliament; which has increased 75% nationwide in one year. ISRAEL is the only nation who has signed a 10 Billion Pound trade deal with a Britain free from the restrictions of the EU to go into effect in April 2019.

REMEMBER: THE UK and the USA have been the greatest global Lighthouses for the Gospel in history! Christian Britains have been fasting and praying holding days of prayer for their nation. We must all pray, speak out, warn all you meet. Invite Jay and I to come to your area to speak out and bring clarity.

Jay is presently in Greece, living with Josh, both are working.  Jay is writing Volume 3 of our story and learning Greek. Josh in high tech can work anywhere. Daniel and I are here in Israel. I am also writing. Jay just sent this to thank you for your help and I share it with you. Love, from Meridel “The  Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am READY to perform My word.”

Each year at this time, the hills and valleys around Jerusalem are dotted with white and pink blossoms. They are the almond trees. It is a very beautiful sight, especially after enduring several months of cold and rainy and sometimes snowy winter days in Israel. These trees are a sign to everyone that spring is on its way. But there is also a message in these lovely blossoms. It reminded me of something that happened to us a couple. I was writing this story yesterday for Volume 3 – Timeless Secrets  – Miracles in the Land of Israel and decided to share it with you. Here is the quote,  Photo above: The first almond blossoms in our garden. 

“During the early months of 1980, Meridel and myself were invited to join a Jerusalem prayer group started by Jan Willem and his wife the late Widad Van der Hoeven. It consisted of several international couples and a few single believers all of whom had deep commitments to Israel and strong convictions that the Lord was ready to bless His nation in powerful ways. We didn’t know how but we would soon find out.  It was called the Almond Branch prayer group. We met once a week. We had no agenda but to simply wait on God in prayer and to see what He was saying to any of us individually and or to all of us corporately. The name Almond Branch was derived from the instructions given to the young prophet Jeremiah when he was called by the Lord. Here is how the Bible records it in Jeremiah 1:4-12

4 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
6 Then said I: “Ah, Lord God!
Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.”
7 But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’
For you shall go to all to whom I send you,
And whatever I command you, you shall speak.
8 Do not be afraid of their faces,
For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.
9 Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.”
11 Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.
12 Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am READY to perform My word.

In this last verse, the word ready in Hebrew is “shaqad” which means watching, waking, awake, alert, vigilant, anticipating, on the lookout, to care for watchfully. This significance of this reference may be best understood by seeing the difference between “Shaqad” meaning waking and the word “Shaqed” meaning almond or almond tree.  The almond is considered the “waker” in Hebrew thought because it is the first tree to blossom, each year,  always watching alertly to be able to blossom. In a way, this tree heralds that spring is on its way and thus it stimulates all the other trees and plants to “wake up” from winter to enter once again their life-giving destiny.

Little did we know that soon events would happen that would cause us to enter our eternal destiny regarding Jerusalem, Israel and all of our futures.

On July 30, 1980, the Knesset passed the Jerusalem Law stating that Jerusalem is the eternal undivided capital of the nation. This reality goes back three thousand years to King David’s time when he moved the Tabernacle to Jerusalem.

However, the Arab oil-producing nations went ballistic when Israel made this move. They then placed an embargo on oil for any country that had an embassy in Jerusalem. They said that if these nations didn’t move their embassies to Tel Aviv then they would be forbidden to purchase oil. With the cold winter in Europe on its way all 13 countries moved their embassies out of Jerusalem. (except Costa Rica)

That was the moment that we opened The International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem. (ICEJ) on September 20, 1980. This initiative hit the headlines of all major press organizations around the world.  I was the Press Secretary at the time. Praise God. Today the ICEJ is the largest Christian Zionist organization in the world because God Himself was READY at that moment to “watch over and to perform His Word.”  Amen! Please be encouraged because He is always ready to perform His Word for you and yours.

This 2019 we Rawlings are on the move. Jay and Joshua are working on a new project in Greece. Chris is busy in Helsinki in high tech and very kindly does all of my website work and the work for Change Action Nepal free of charge. David and wife Adi are in Budapest as I write, and Daniel and I and our office staff are here holding the fort.

A garden is a perfect place to still one’s mind and to quiet down. I love to seek out any changes day by day. The fig now has just the tips of new leaves, the roses are in bud, the limes are ripe and the crafty raven hides it’s bread up high in the palm. My garden is a safe place, and habitat of many migrating (photo above: aloe in bloom) birds. I am comforted. What we sowed 20 years ago faithfully bears fruit. The universal law of sowing and reaping. After a walk, it’s easier to relax. I have learned to receive the flowing thoughts of the Still Small Voice; like a young child needing her mother’s reassurance. I am hungry for that ‘life-giving’ voice, even as I awaken first thing every morning. But… yesterday I ran outside! A fire was raging in our tinder dry papas grass located on the eastern border of our property.  While my co-worker and I fought the blaze, a jogger passing below on the fire road called the local fire department. It was scary until the fire was out. Later in the day,  we found a thunderstorm and torrential rains very comforting. We were glad to be dry and safe.  

Today I awoke to crystal clear skies and bright Jerusalem sunshine 14 C.  Come, for a short stroll with me. Surprise! The very first delicate creamy and pink almond blossoms have burst forth after the wild storm. I see them as a gentle reminder of Aaron’s rod that budded. “This shall be a sign to you… and the remnant who have escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward and bear fruit upward. For out of Jerusalem shall go a remnant.” Isaiah 37: 30a, 31, 32a.

May each one of us continue to be fruitful for the Kingdom. Tiny practical help makes it easier to believe that: God’s mercies are new every morning! He helps me too in quiet content.

 I am humbled and blessed because you have blessed us. May you be repaid in ways you need the most as you receive my prayers and blessings from heaven above.   With gratefulness for the HELP! Meridel

Dieses Zitat trifft die aktuelle Situation ziemlich genau. Jay und ich danken euch herzlich und wir beten für ein gesegnetes 2019. Ich bin tief bewegt und sehr ermutigt durch eure liebevollen Antworten. Der Herr segne euch. Euer Interesse, eure Gebete und Reaktionen erfüllen uns mit grosser Dankbarkeit, mehr als Ihr je ahnen könnt. Erzählt anderen Menschen über uns, nehmt die Briefe mit zu Gebetstreffen. «Wir müssen die Werke dessen wirken, der uns gesandt hat, solange es Tag ist; es kommt die Nacht, da niemand wirken kann.» Joh. 9.4 Das Thema, welches in allen euren Briefen auftaucht, ist «Veränderung». Wir spüren es auch hier. Aber anstatt in Panik zu geraten, beobachten wir, beten und arbeiten.

David Rawlings feierte seinen 50. Geburtstag diesen Januar. Unser ältester Sohn diente in der Spezialeinheit «Givati» in den israelischen Verteidigungsstreitkräften. Er war erst 7 Jahre alt, als er in Israel ankam. Seit seiner Kindheit hat David immer wieder gute Freunde kennengelernt. Als er in der 2. Klasse seiner hebräischen Schule war, fragte er mich: «Darf ich einen Freund nach Hause nehmen?» «Natürlich.» Sein Freund war ein über 2 m grosser, schwarzer amerikanischer Basketballstar, welcher für das Nationalteam von Haifa spielte. David arbeitete über 20 Jahre für Jerusalem Vistas / Israel Vision in der Filmproduktion. Nun ist er für The Media Line im Einsatz, eine neue Produktionsfirma in Jerusalem. «Denn wer ist Gott ausser dem Herrn, und wer ist ein Fels ausser unserem Gott? Gott umgürtet mich mit Kraft und untadelig macht er meinen Weg.» Ps. 31.32 Den Eid, den alle Soldaten der israelischen Streitkräfte leisten, beinhaltet: «Nicht durch Macht und nicht durch Kraft, sondern durch Meinen Geist, spricht der HERR.» Sach. 4.6 

Sind wir nicht dankbar für die Bibel, welche uns Richtlinien für unsere Leben gibt. Erlaube dir nicht in Versuchung zu geraten und zu denken, du seist allein. Geliebte, stärkt und ermutigt eure Seele täglich durch das Wort, indem ihr alle Ablenkungen aussperrt. Ich werde ruhig vor ihm und bete oft Gottes Wort zurück zu IHM.

«…Als er die vielen Menschen sah, hatte er tiefes Mitleid mit ihnen, denn sie hatten grosse Sorgen und wussten nicht, wen sie um Hilfe bitten konnten. Sie waren wie Schafe ohne Hirten.» Matth. 9.36

Israel benutzt zwar den gregorianischen Kalender, aber es ist 5779 im hebräischen Kalender bis zum 29. September 2019. Jeder hebräische Buchstabe hat einen numerischen Wert. Was ist die Bedeutung von 5779? Wörtlich heisst es «stampfen und zertrampeln unter einem Pferdehuf» oder «Der Gegner nutzt Konflikte, um zu ermüden und zu schwächen». Nöte sind Israeli, Juden wie Christen, nicht fremd. Hast du schon darüber nachgedacht …»alle Dinge, ob Not oder Segen, den Juden zuerst und dann allen anderen» gemäss Römer 2.9,10. Die Geschichte wiederholt sich. Der Holocaust begann 1933 mit Hitlers Fantasien vom 3. Reich, welches von 1939 bis 1945 Realität war. Die Welt wurde durch Krieg erschüttert und 80-120 Millionen Menschen wurden geschlachtet. WER litt nicht? Wir ermutigen uns mit dem Buch Daniel. Er ging siegreich durch furchterregende Kämpfe, welche die Nationen und Israel erschütterten, und Jesus hat sein Licht auf unsere Zukunft geworfen.

Heute sind Christen, Juden und sunnitische Moslem das Ziel eines teuflischen Feindes. Israel steht radikal muslimischen Armeen an drei Landesgrenzen gegenüber: Golan, Libanon, Gaza und Iran im Osten. Ein Freund, der kürzlich zu Besuch war, meinte: «Ich habe Angst!» Israel zerstört ganz offen iranische Stützpunkte in Syrien. Der Konflikt liegt offen. Weltweit wird jeder 12te Christ verfolgt, das ergibt aktuell mehr als 215 Millionen, welche Ziel der Zerstörung sind. Nur gerade 160 km von unserem Haus entfernt sterben täglich Menschen. 1500 Christen und Jesiden sind als Sexsklaven in Syrien gefangen gehalten. Kleine Mädchen werden auf den Märkten wie Schafe an ihre Schlachter verkauft. Tausende werden vermisst. Mit dem Rückzug Amerikas droht die Türkei, im Osten Syriens einzumarschieren.

In Israel leben zurzeit etwa 9 Millionen. Beide, Araber wie Juden, sind gesegnet mit Kreativität. Alles in allem ist es ein grossartiges Land zum Leben, ganz besonders im Vergleich zu den bröckelnden arabischen Staaten in der Region. Israels Wirtschaft ist stark, die neuen Technologien fortschrittlich, die diplomatischen Beziehungen wachsen. Die Sicherheitskräfte sind wachsam, jetzt besonders, wenn Amerika seine Truppen aus Syrien abzieht, die demokratischen Strukturen sind gesund, der Glaube lebendig und die Entschlossenheit stark. Preis den Herrn! Das Wichtigste: Israel ist die einzige Nation im Mittleren Osten mit einer blühenden christlichen Bevölkerung. Man sagt, es seien die reichsten Menschen in Israel. Trotzdem gibt es viele Christen weltweit, die kaltherzig gegenüber Israel sind. Warum? Die Geschichte hat gezeigt, dass die Hauptkirchen erstaunlich stumm sind gegenüber den Nöten der verfolgten Juden und Christen. Wo sind die Stimmen, welche sich gegen den radikalen Islam erheben? Bitte sagt mir nicht «Wir sind nicht politisch! Wir wollen damit nichts zu tun haben.» Es ist Zeit aufzuwachen! Was eure Verantwortlichen erlauben, wird euch einholen. Die etablierten Kirchen schweigen und bleiben politisch korrekt. Viele von uns kämpfen um die eigene Existenz.

Feindliche Gebiete für Juden, Christen und moderate Muslime:

Gaza: Viele Menschen in Gaza sind verzweifelt über die schlimmen Lebensbedingungen, physisch wie psychisch, bedingt durch die brennenden Reifen an der Grenze zu Israel. Viele leiden an Atembeschwerden, viele wurden es einfach leid, dass sie dazu gezwungen wurden, «gegen Israel zu demonstrieren», und flohen in die Türkei und hoffen, nach Europa zu kommen. Nur 1300 Christen wohnen noch im Gazastreifen unter den 2 Mio. radikalen Moslems. Sie müssen sich diskret verhalten oder lügen, um Gewalt und Folter mit dem Zweck zur Bekehrung zum Islam zu entgehen.

Palästinensische Autorität: 7% des Haushaltgelds wird an Terroristen bezahlt, welche Israeli getötet haben. 2018 gab es 33 Schiessereien, 17 Messerattacken, 530 geplante Attacken, bei welchen 3000 Terroristen gefangen genommen wurden. Wir haben vor 20 Jahren einen Film gedreht (Between a Rock and a Hard Place – Das Dilemma). Wir haben gefolterte Christen interviewt, um Gewalt unter der Fatah und der palästinensischen Autorität nachzuweisen. Bis heute hat sich nichts geändert unter dem palästinensischen Präsident Abbas, es wurde schlimmer.

Bulgarien: Die einzigen zugelassenen Kirchen sind «NATO Staatskirchen» und Moscheen.

Kanada: Es ist verboten, die ganze Bibel zu predigen und dabei ‘politisch korrekt’ zu bleiben.

Ein Pastor erhielt eine Busse von 100 Mio. Dollar. 

Grossbritannien: Eine weitere Nation befindet sich in einer grossen Krise. Die Brexit Abstimmung, mit welcher Menschen den Wunsch geäussert haben, die nationale Souveränität wiederzuerlangen, wird torpediert durch die Verschwörung von Politikern. Die Stimme der Mehrheit ging verloren. Aufgrund von vermehrten antisemitischen Äusserungen von Jeremy Corbyn erwartet Israel, dass etwa 30% der britischen Juden nach Israel auswandern. In etwa 10 Jahren könnte England ein islamischer Staat werden. Betet für Grossbritannien, der 29. März wartet bedrohlich, wenn die Briten die EU verlassen müssen. 

Nordkorea, Afghanistan, Somalien, Bolivien, Pakistan, Jemen, Iraq, Iran, Türkei, Kurdistan, Ägypten, Saudi-Arabien und Marokko gehören zu den Ländern, in welchen es gefährlich ist für Christen. 

Beobachte und Bete:

Amerika: Die amerikanischen Demokraten haben palästinensische Kongressabgeordnete willkommen geheissen: Rashida Tlaib, von Michigan, welche über Nacht berühmt wurde, weil sie über Präsident Trump geflucht hat, sowie Ilan Omar, Minnesota. Ihre Unterstützer verbrannten eine israelische Flagge auf den Strassen New Yorks. Ihre unverschämte Anti-Israel-Haltung befürwortet eine radikale Veränderung für Amerika, Israel, Palästina und den Islam!

Israel: Man arbeitet daran, die bargeldlose Gesellschaft zu schaffen und braucht die Technologie eines Chips in der Hand. Seid Ihr überrascht? Nicht nötig. Betet zusammen mit uns, wenn wir für Hunger nach dem Lebendigen Wort Gottes beten, überall, aber ganz besonders in Israel.

Jay bliess das Schofar während mehreren Jahren, um den Beginn des Laubhüttenfests zu verkünden. Unterstützt durch die Geigerin und Liederkomponistin Merla Watson, welche in der Internationalen Christlichen Botschaft in Jerusalem empfangen wurde. «Lob wartet auf dich in Zion». Israel ist Heimat, und wir heissen den Herrn, den Gott Israels, willkommen. Jerusalem schmückt sich wie eine Braut, die auf ihren König wartet. Komme bald, geliebter Messias.

Was wirklich zählt!

Sind wir daran interessiert, echte Beziehungen zu bauen? Es kann die härteste Arbeit sein, ganz besonders wenn ein Bruder verletzt ist. Psalm 15 erzählt uns etwas von der Weisheit, die David erhielt. Hier haben wir einen Mann, der Ablehnung kennt. Warum nennt ihn Gott «einen Mann nach dem Herzen Gottes»? Sind wir aufmerksam zu unseren Nachbarn, oder sind wir am tratschen und reden schlecht über sie? Nutzen wir jemanden aus? Klagen wir Freunde an, verhöhnen, blamieren oder beschämen wir sie, oder werfen wir ihnen etwas vor? Verwechsle diese ethische Haltung nicht mit der Haltung gegenüber denjenigen, die einen Rachefeldzug geben uns ausüben. Natürlich müssen wir uns schützen vor Gefahr und Verlust, aber vor allem müssen wir unsere Herzen schützen und unsere Gedanken überwachen. Wir sollen mit reinen Herzen für diejenigen beten, die uns ausnutzen. Wie oft täglich wäschst du dir die Hände? Wie oft täglich wäschst du deine Gedanken und Absichten deines Herzens? 

Der Heilige Geist hat mit aufgefordert, das Abendmahl täglich einzunehmen. Ich nehme daran teil, nach Jay, und bringe unsere Kinder, eines nach dem anderen, dann die lebenden Eltern ihrer Frauen, dann ihre Frauen, Kinder (unsere Enkel). Und… da geschieht so viel mehr. Es ist, wie wenn man in Lebenswasser schreitet und lernt, zu entspannen und hinausschwimmt in die reinigenden und erfrischenden Tiefen. 

«…in der Nacht, in der er verraten wurde, nahm er das Brot…» 1. Kor. 11.23 STOP!  An diesem Morgen sprang mir das Wort VERRATEN entgegen. Ich sah sofort, wo Verletzung am Werk war. Wer wurde nicht schon verraten? Wir gehören alle dazu. Welche Schäden tragen wir immer noch mit uns herum und verewigen sie sogar? Können wir loslassen und alle Nebenwirkungen vergeben, die uns zugefügt wurden? Können wir uns einbringen und seinen Fussspuren folgen? «… und er dankte und brach es.» v. 24 Ich bin auch einverstanden mit dem Weg, den er vor mir gelegt hat. Es kann Tränen geben, gefolgt von tiefem Frieden! Oh, die Reichtümer seiner Weisheit. Es ist Arbeit, aber es ist unser Vorrecht, in den Riss zu treten für uns selbst, unsere Familien, Freunde, Gemeinde, Stadt, unsere Nation und die Nationen. Wenn wir es nicht tun, wer tut es? Das sind unsere ersten Früchte. Wir haben zu lieben, als wären wir nie verletzt worden. Ich bin dankbar, dass die Hoffnung sich erneuert! Halleluja.
