Recently, on a Sunday afternoon drive, we stopped to walk on a beach even tho the spring wind blew cool. Looking down, I just happened to see this small stone shining in the sunlight. (see photo above) It spoke to me, and I picked it up! I hope it speaks to you, too! What did it take for the sun, tides and winds working together to create the small heart-shaped opening? How long do you suppose it took? In the same manner, the Creator works on our stony hearts. What shape are we in? Has an opening been created, or do we still lock Him out? I have discovered that the lover of our souls will take just as long as we need to open and trust His love. In this season of Passover and the Death and Resurrection of Jesus, let us lift our hearts to heaven for whatever we need. Too often, we don’t even know what we need.
“As in the days when you came out from the land of Egypt, I shall show you marvelous and miraculous things.” Micah 7:15
The Hebrew word Nissim means miracles! This month, we rehearse the Exodus, when God used natural elements to destroy Pharaoh. Get ready, the LORD will do it again. He fights for His People, Israel and all believers who are reborn from above. 1 Peter 1:3 They are of his seed. “For you have been born again spiritually, transformed, renewed and set apart for His purpose; not of seed which is perishable but imperishable and immortal, that is through the living and everlasting word of God.” That means we can be transformed by the DNA, the WORD, the seed of God! I love the hope this gives me personally.
This Holy War:
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is not merely a nation-state—it is a theocratic experiment built on revolutionary ideology. Persia, a 2,500-year-old nation, has been held hostage at gunpoint for the last 47 years. Make no mistake, the long-term goals of Iran are: Islamic world dominance; death not only to Israel and the USA, but death to Judaism and Christianity. We are in a Holy War. Nations that have not lived with terror are impatient, short-sighted and restless. Yes, we now understand that Iranian missiles are capable of reaching major European cities. IRGC sleeper cells are hiding in North America, waiting, just waiting to strike.
A Cosmic Struggle:
These days of bloodshed and war leave us uncertain, waiting and praying for change. Isn’t Peace the greatest need of every soul? So many hearts are stone cold. As I write this, I struggle to be free from anxious thoughts, and literally have to fight to replace them with a quiet, open heart. The reality of the war raging between Israel and Iran hits us hard through our children and extended family in Jerusalem. Because of terrifying missiles, they spend part of every day and night in their bomb shelters, waiting for the ‘all clear’ to ring out. Then they climb back into their lives and pick up from where they left off. This is a kind of madness, and we see no immediate end in sight. Life continues, kids study via ZOOM and parents keep showing up at work! Pray for the families of Israel, for the babies, the soldiers, the wives, the elderly who can’t run to shelters. This aside is for those who think this war “is so far away.” No one equates Vancouver with terror, and yet recently, an IRGC operative murdered an Iranian teacher at Simon Fraser University. It is no longer just Israel or the US that are targets! It is all of humanity that is in Iran’s cross-hairs; Shia Muslims wait for their so-called Mahdi, deliverer to a chaotic world where Islam will rule. This is a holy war. To the critics, may I ask: “Has your leader stood up against Iran? PRAY for the changes your leaders and nation need, and please, for your well-being, do not criticise Israel and the US. Pray for the Christians in Iran, and those who are on the way to a spiritual rebirth and for a strategy to win this war in the streets.
“It is Finished”:
Historians conclude that in antiquity, Jerusalem hosted 1,000,000 visitors at Passover. One lamb was offered for every family (up to 10 souls). Yeshua-Jesus was God’s Lamb. He was put on display before the whole worshipping Jewish world at the time. How many knew it was the hour of their visitation? From the cross, Jesus’ final cry, “It is finished”, coincided with the blood sacrifices slaughtered at 3 p.m. on the Temple altars. At His crucifixion, Jesus’ disciples and followers were left sick with shock and fear. All hopes of a new world order were dashed to nothing. They cowered behind locked doors in grief and disbelief; certain of one thing: “It’s over.” It was finished, but not in the way they expected…
The women…
The women were the first to find the empty tomb. Angels asked: “Why are you looking for the living One among the dead?” Luke 24:5b, 6a.
Excited, they ran to the terrified disciples with their news: “He is not here but is RISEN!”
The men were in no mood to listen to such nonsense. “… their report seemed to them idle talk and nonsense, and they would not believe them.” Luke 24:11.
(stoney hearts) However, curiosity got the better of them, and they ran to the tomb.
“He [Peter] saw only the linen wrappings, and he went away, wondering about what had happened.” Luke 24:12b
The Crime Scene:
At this season, Israelis are living witnesses to the salvation of their nation, Israel. We all see evidence of it on our nightly news. True, deliverance and salvation usually do not come the way we expect it to. I find it fascinating that today, the 4-meter linen burial cloth known as the 2,000-year-old ’shroud of Turin’ continues to gain notoriety. We are told by physicists that this cloth is authentic. It holds undeniable clues to the satanic mutilation inflicted upon the person and body of Jesus. Think of the shroud as the prime witness in this murder. Modern physicists explain the evidence of the image imprinted on the shroud in scientific terms.
The Resurrection … a Forensic Scientific Mystery:
The mysterious image on the shroud measures only 200 nanometers on the linen fibres, hundreds of times thinner than a human hair. “It is a kind of scorch left behind by an unknown source of energy,” said scientists at Italy’s ENEA National Energy Agency. To create the image, the body had to sustain a burst of energy lasting less than half a billionth of a second, powerful enough to mark the cloth but not to burn it.”
Examining the shroud in 1976, NASA said: “It is a perfectly accurate replication.”
The image of Jesus’ broken body exists on the shroud as a shadow. The crown of thorns was actually a helmet woven of a local thorn bush with long spikes. Digital analysis found imprints of coins over the eyes. Nerve damage to the median nerve, caused when the nails were hammered through the wrists, not the palms. This caused the thumbs to retract, as evident on the shroud. Every artistic painting of the Middle Ages painted Jesus’ thumbs. They got this wrong. Also, pollen spores found on the shroud were recently proven to exist only in the areas of Jerusalem and Jericho.
Conclusion:
The DNA code traced across layer by layer of physiology is the forensic marking of a real human being. The shroud is a biological archive, a silent witness that altered all of history. It traces a journey that no forger could reproduce.

We are looking at a piece of history that by all rights should not exist. The body just stopped being there. What we see is a photograph of 34 trillion watts of light that once filled a tomb without leaving a scorch mark. The image on the linen shroud is mathematically perfect. The silence of the scientific community may be of AWE! ” It breaks all the known laws of our reality.”

The Prophetic Panorama:

We are witnessing the birth of a new era. Are the Times of the Gentiles coming to an end? Today, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel read like a local newspaper. Ancient prophecies are unfolding as Israel takes her rightful place among the family of nations. We are seeing a mighty move of the Holy Spirit, disposing Evil regimes so that Righteousness can reign. If you allow ignorance to dupe you into unbelief, you will be fighting God. Deception comes from half-truths. We are witnessing a prophetic unfolding of the Almighty’s end-time plans and purposes. Rejoice, our God is on the move, His anger has been aroused, godless nations are being dealt with. Where does your nation stand? Where are you in all of this?
Where Do We Go From Here?
Millions are in the valley of decision. I have heard, “The fastest growing church is in Iran.” Jesus is appearing to many Muslims as the ‘man in white’. Read the crucifixion accounts carefully. How amazing, that only today, with the development of new technology, so many more clues found in the shroud lead us right back to the validity of scripture. Jerusalem was witness to a moment that changed all of history. Pray for the PEACE of Jerusalem.
Our work is to watch and pray and live in obedience. Look UP, we are approaching the time the Rabbis call the final redemption. How interesting that there are so many Rabbis, men, women and Messianics teaching over the internet now. Israel is called to be a nation of evangelists in the end days.“
